  5. Inositol has been found to keep hair follicles healthy in the cellular level. Yeast, liver, eggs, milk, rice, citrus fruits, whole grains are some of the foods that are rich in inositol.
  6. Leafy vegetables like spinach, lettuces, turnip greens and dried beans, peas, fortified cereal products, sunflower seeds and select fruits and vegetables are a rich source of folic acid. Folic acid is important for proper cell division, proper hair growth and healthy cellular activity.
